Dr. Dayo David Ajibade is the medical director and founder of Brain and Body Solutions, Ltd., an integrated health center. He is also the Executive Director of Brain and Body Foundation (BBF), an organization focused on educating the Nigerian public on important health issues and on alleviating the suffering of medically fragile children, including those diagnosed with severe brain disorders, genetic disorders, and sickle cell disease.

The Brain and Body Foundation has signed MOUs with the Federal Ministry of Health and The Nigerian Military to address Mental Health and Brain disorders in Nigeria.

CURRENT WORK

In addition to managing his foundation and educational enterprises, Dr. Ajibade is currently
engaged in several other endeavours, each of which revolves around his interest in health and the human brain.

TV HEALTH SHOW

Host of the number one TV health show in Africa, Your Health in Your Hands, which airs weekly on Africa’s largest television network, NIGERIAN TELEVISION AUTHORITY (NTA).

BOOK

Based on his more than two decades of experience and education in the area of brain disorders, Dr. Ajibade is currently working on his book titled Dementia’s Dirty Dozen, which has an expected release date of October 2024.

CHARITY AND ADVOCACY WORK: WAR AGAINST SICKLE CELL DISEASE

Working towards goal of reducing the death rate of children below the age of five
diagnosed with SCD from 75% (over 100,000 each year) to below 10% by 2025.

RESEARCH

Currently working with the Nigerian government to study the effect of improving immune function through the inclusion of nutrient supplementation in the management of children with Sickle Cell Disease and related immune deficiency diseases.

ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION

Dr. Ajibade is currently volunteering as a Community Health Educator at the Alzheimer Association, assisting with education, outreach programs, and the providing of support for families living with dementia. His extensive experience on TV, radio, and at large gatherings has enabled him to deliver a wealth of knowledge on the challenges associated with Alzheimer’s disease for the residents of Maryland, especially those in the black community.

ABOUT

As far back as he can remember, Dr. Ajibade has been passionate about three things:
1. Learning how the brain and body work;
2. Discovering the keys to enhancing their ability to function optimally, heal and recover from
illness and damage; and
3. Sharing what he learns with others.
