We are expecting at least 500 patients between the ages of six months and 12 years with moderate to severe sickle cell disease to attend. Parents must come with their children’s genotype results and whatever test results they have with them. They shall be required to fill forms about their experience with sickle cell disease and we shall provide them with these nutrients that have been proven to help boost immunity, improve blood circulation, reduce inflammation, and altogether have them enjoy a better quality of life.

85% of patients that come to the Brain and Body Foundation have had significant relief from crises and complications of the disease. In many, the crises have stopped altogether. So we expect to have some really good results in Lagos as well.
