End of Year Clinic – December 2024

The Brain and Body Foundation is thrilled to share the success of its final clinic for 2024, marking the culmination of a year dedicated to empowering individuals and families managing health challenges. This special event, held in December, provided free medications to all attendees, reinforcing BBF’s commitment to accessible healthcare for all.

The clinic provided care to a total of 149 patients, including 101 individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and 48 persons with brain disorders. This effort highlights the foundation’s steadfast dedication to supporting vulnerable populations through personalized care and essential medications tailored to their specific health needs.

Additionally, supplements valued at $21,150 USD were distributed free of charge, further underscoring our commitment to enhancing the well-being of those we serve.

MEDICATIONS AND SUPPORT

BBF provided a comprehensive range of free medications, particularly focusing on conditions that require long-term management such as:

  • Sickle Cell Disease: Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, and Zinc to strengthen immunity and manage symptoms.

  • Brain Disorders: Supplements to enhance neurological function and support cognitive health.

Educational sessions were also conducted to help patients and their families understand the importance of consistent medication, proper nutrition, and lifestyle management.
