Sickle Cell Warrior’s Care and Healthy Living Foundation (SCWCHLF) is a non-profit organisation established in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, to focus on sickle cell disease (SCD) and to promote healthy living, education, and community development. They collaborate with other organisations to reduce the health burden of Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and enhance societal living standards through genetic counselling, outreach programmes, and sensitization campaigns. Sickle Cell Warrior’s Care and Healthy Living Foundation is founded by Dr. Rhoda Asuquo.

June 2023, SCWCHLF confirmed a partnership with the Brain and Body Foundation on the Project SCD Nigeria initiative to provide CITAMIL for kids with SCD.

On 21 July 2023, Dr. Rhoda Asuquo, Founder, acknowledged Sickle Cell Warrior’s Care and Healthy Living Foundation (SCWCHLF) collaboration with Brain and Body Foundation, Embrace Kids and Tackle Sickle Cell to help distribute CITAMIL to children living with sickle cell disease in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria.
