Harmony’s mother expressed deep gratitude for her transformation. Since joining the BBF program, her frequent joint pain and weakness have drastically reduced. She can now stand and sit with support, sleeps better, and has regained a healthy appetite. Sarah’s mother shared that her daughter, who once experienced painful crises every few weeks, has now been crisis-free for nearly four months. Favour is thriving in school and enjoys outdoor activities again.The Brain and Body Foundation held another impactful clinic session at our campus clinic at Karu, Nasarawa State on Saturday, September 13, 2025, dedicated exclusively to children living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). A total of 48 patients were attended to by our medical team.
The session focused on detailed follow-ups, clinical assessments, and continued monitoring of patient progress. It was a fulfilling day as parents shared uplifting stories of recovery, stability, and renewed hope in their children’s health.

Children reviewed during this clinic showed remarkable improvements in overall wellness and vitality. Parents reported that crises have become far less frequent, and their children are more energetic, playful, and consistent in school attendance.
Many of the children who once battled recurring pain and fatigue now live more active, joyful lives. The improvements reflect the power of consistent, evidence-based care and the dedication of the BBF team.
